Foster Rentals, a company which owns and rents apartments in central South Dakota, needed a system that could manage all of their rental property and units while also providing a sleek and modern interface for interested parties looking for rentals in the area. The site also needed to be able to track the work associated to maintaining the rental properties. The admin portion of the site allows users to create buildings, manage the units in those buildings as well as any tasks associated to those units. Personnel can print off lists for each buiding which contain all vacancies, todo items, and lease information. The public website pulls all of its information dynamically so it is up-to-date at all times.

Brent Smith, a graduate of the University of South Dakota, has been with Smart Software Solutions since December of 2007. He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics. He currently resides in Pierre, SD with his wife and two sons. In his spare time he enjoys reading, watching baseball, and playing in a local cover band.
